Privacy Policy — Qamar Glow

Effective Date: August 4, 2026

Qamar Glow (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by Digital Maker Hub, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the Qamar Glow mobile application (“App”).

By using the App, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. Related terms for subscriptions and use of the App are in our Terms of Use (EULA).

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect:

  • Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and profile details you provide (such as a display name).
  • Profile image: if you choose to take or upload a profile photo.
  • App content you enter: information you voluntarily provide for App features (for example cycle-related logs, notes, preferences, or similar inputs used to personalize the experience).
  • Subscription and purchase status: whether you have an active Premium subscription, subscription type (monthly/yearly), expiry information, and related purchase identifiers needed to verify entitlements. Payment card details are processed by Apple or Google — we do not receive or store your full payment card number.
  • Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, crash/diagnostic data, and interaction events used to operate and improve the App.
  • Support communications: information you send when contacting us for help.

2. Camera and Photos

Qamar Glow may request access to your device’s camera or photo library only so you can take or upload a profile picture. Access occurs only when you choose that action. We do not use the camera for background tracking, facial recognition, biometric analysis, or deriving sensitive attributes from images.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage your account and provide App features
  • Personalize content and insights within the App
  • Verify and manage Premium subscriptions and restore purchases
  • Improve reliability, performance, and user experience
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted service providers to operate the App. These parties process data on our behalf or as independent controllers where required by their role:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and backend services
  • Apple App Store / StoreKit and Google Play Billing — subscription purchases, renewals, and restore flows
  • Apple Sign In / Google Sign-In — optional social authentication
  • Firebase Analytics — app analytics and usage measurement (for example screens viewed and feature engagement). This is not used to show third-party advertising in the App.
  • AI / content providers — if you use AI-assisted features, relevant prompts or context you submit may be processed to generate responses

These providers have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We do not include third-party advertising SDKs for serving ads in the App at this time.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

If you purchase Monthly Premium or Yearly Premium, billing is handled by Apple or Google. We receive confirmation of purchase status needed to unlock Premium features. For cancellation, renewals, and refunds, use your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. See our Terms of Use (EULA) for subscription length, auto-renewal, and management details.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data as described below, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we store. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use discretion when sharing sensitive information.

8. Your Choices and Rights

  • You may update profile information in the App where available.
  • You may revoke camera or photo permissions in your device settings.
  • You may manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google.
  • Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live (including where our service providers operate). Where required, we take steps to protect transfers in accordance with applicable law.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
